The typical assumption when it comes to negotiation is that someone has to lose. Lionshare Negotiation Ceo, Joe Hernandez says that's not true. Joe has negotiated contracts worth billions of dollars for several Fortune 500 companies, as well as for a number of small and medium sized businesses. He says there is no reason a negotiation can't result in both parties being happy.
Joe Hernandez joins us as a guest of Vistage Chair, Pat Maley, who always introduces us to great, inspirational speakers and authors from his Vistage group.
Tune in for negotiation strategies that help both sides win! And for our Brave Leader interview with Tracee Bentley!
Tracee Bentley is a bit of a pioneer, as Republican serving as legislative director for Democratic Governor, John Hickenlooper's administration. That alone makes her a worthy Brave Leader. She offered her special touch for meeting between party lines, and convincing political opponents that it was okay to work together. In that work, Tracee was successful, appreciated, and clearly, brave.
Proving her mettle, Tracee left the governor's office early this year, to start the Colorado Petroleum Council office for the American Petroleum Institute. Not only changing jobs, but advocating for an industry faced with fluctuation, with a determination to succeed.
Learn about Tracee Bentley's bold career decisions, and about who she finds inspiring. Hint: she is our first Brave Leader to point to her own child as an example.
