Continuing our theme of Business around the Globe, in conjunction with the release of ICOSA Magazine's international Business issue. Our contributing writers do business from Denver in international markets, and are able to share their expertise both in the magazine and on the air.
Tyler Rauert, Polaris Law Group gives us a more detailed perspective on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) - which is more and more in the news now that the text of the TPP agreement has been released.
Tyler explains that the TPP agreement would export some of the U.S. regulations onto the rest of the world, in an effort to level the playing field. Because U.S. requirements are often stiffer, when it comes to labor and environment, requiring the same restrictions on the countries we do business with, would make trade fair and reciprocal across the Pacific.
Tune in to learn more about the regulations. Also, check out his article in the ICOSA Magazine on International Business Law, starting on page 24.
We also talk with Todd Hauer, Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley about Denver-area, high net worth investors' cautious attitudes toward investing overseas. Todd suggests that there are ample opportunities for wealth abroad, but explains that many investors are wary about unfamiliar markets, or concern over foreign conflicts.
Learn more about international investing by tuning in, and by reading Todd's article in ICOSA Magazine on page 17.
