Colorado certainly knows how to get around. From visiting leaders in other countries to encourage trade, to working with the crews who launch explorers into space. On this week's show, we will talk about Colorado's recent Global Trade Mission, and preview the upcoming Colorado Space Roundup.
First, we continue our month long Global Business theme, in conjunction with the release of the latest ICOSA Magazine focused on International Business. Karen Gerwitz, President of World Trade Center Denver (shown in above photo, ringing the bell at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, along with the Global Trade Mission Delegation.) shares her experience on the Colorado Global Trade Mission trip with Governor John Hickenlooper and a number of Colorado business owners.
The October Global Trade Mission took the group to Japan, China, Turkey and Israel over the span of two weeks. Karen will tell us about the meetings with dignitaries, the formal receptions and dinners, all of which sounds a bit glamorous, but in fact, is the key to building relationships for international business. Tune in and hear all about it.
