If bravery is evidenced by taking risks, then this week's Brave Leader more than fits the bill.
Pat Bowlen, owner of the Denver Broncos, bought the team 1984, saving them from possible bankruptcy. Then he saw the team through several Super Bowl losses, before two triumphant seasons in the late 90s with back-to-back championships.
The next decade brought trials and tribulations. but Pat continued his civic work and stayed true to his faith, his family and the Broncos. His latest challenge has been his biggest test of bravery as he faces a struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. A devastating blow to his family.
His daughter Beth Bowlen, speaks to us in her father's stead, reminiscing about Pat's hard work and dedication, as well as sharing how he approaches each current day with bravery.
Also in this week's show, Vistage Chair, Pat Maley introduces to marketing speaker, Gerry O'Brion, author of What Big Brands Know. Gerry will share some big brand strategies that can work for any business. Get ready, one question he wants you to consider, is "What is your why?"
