What are some industry trends that have an impact on your role as a leader?
It’s vital to engage senior-level executives and business leaders in the community through service on the JA-Rocky Mountain Board of Directors, which is comprised of 70 men and women who represent diverse facets of our local economy. In the quest to position JA as a vital educational force for children, these local leaders are willing and able to deliver their own organizations’ resources (human and/or financial) and influence others to do the same.
In 2016, we launched JA Engage, a community of young professionals in the Denver metro area who are actively engaged with JA. Members of JA Engage attend various educational, networking, and social events hosted by the group throughout the year. They also directly support JA by volunteering and fundraising. By engaging young professionals in the Denver area, we are tapping into the knowledge base & tools of the up and coming generation of business professionals.
