Biography
Peter Moore is a member of RWO's business practice group and is active in many civic, pro bono, and community activities, including, founder and Board Chairman and CEO of Vital for Colorado (2013 to present). He is included in the 2013 - 2017 editions of Best Lawyers in America for corporate law, the 2017 edition of Colorado Super Lawyers for corporate and business law, and has been rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell since 1990.
He received the 2012-2013 Leadership in Motion Award from the South Metro Denver Chamber and, in May of 2014, he received the South Metro Denver Chamber's Brian Vogt Community Leader of the Year Award. Prior community service includes a six-year stint as Legal Counsel and Board member of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce (2008-2014); Board member and legal counsel for Geneva Glen Camp (2002-2016); pro bono legal counsel for the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Colorado (2012-present), and Board Member of Swallow Hill Music Association in the 1990s.
Vital for Colorado is a 65,000 + coalition of Colorado citizens, business leaders, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and businesses. They advocate for responsible energy policy in Colorado and are run by a 15-person volunteer board of directors. He founded the organization in the fall of 2013. As part of their communication effort, he hosts a twice monthly radio show of KDMT 1690 AM as part of COBRT’s daily 4:00 p.m. drive-time radio hour.
