Peter Moore, President and CEO of VITAL for Colorado is a regular contributor to Connect & Collaborate, discussing the importance of energy production in the state.

This week, Peter’s guest is Bill Jerke, Executive Director of FUEL (Fostering Unity, Energizing Leadership), and a former state legislator from Weld county. Bill will tell us about his experience serving Weld county as a County Commissioner and share his perspective on property, mineral, surface and water rights and how they play a role in the development of our natural resources.

Bill will also share results of a study by the Colorado Department of Health and Environment on a number of health indicators as presented throughout the state in terms of proximity to active oil and gas wells, easing concerns associated with health and drilling.
