Our Pro-Business Colorado edition of Connect & Collaborate focuses on one company, near Denver, Colorado (Frederick to be exact), that manufactures printed circuit board assemblies, the sort of electronic hardware that is typically produced overseas. Not only is Premier Manufacturing making it in the USA, but they're providing much-needed jobs for entry level workers, with potential for management positions and other promotions. Working with developers who want production of their prototypes near by, rather than a half a world away.
We will talk with Edmond Johnson, President and Owner of Premier Manufacturing about working with the nation's biggest electronic suppliers and designers to create a thriving ecosystem for technology in Colorado. Johnson also shares thoughts about workforce development as it pertains to manufacturing.
Pro-Business Colorado is a collaboration with the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry, co-hosted by CACI Senior Vice President of Business Partnerships, Dave Tabor.
Stick with us for our Brave Leader segment at the end of the hour. Our Brave Leader this week is Representative Beth McCann, who makes a distinction between the type of bravery where one puts their life on the line, versus her own experience of putting her reputation and career on the line while fighting for rights in which she believes.
