Latinos make up about 20% of Colorado's population, as hard-working members of their communities. Those numbers are not represented at the executive levels, or in board appointments, only three percent of which are held by latinos. Even fewer by latinas.
Some of Denver's most esteemed latino leaders, came together in 2013 to develop a program to grow leadership, and empower latinos in professional development.
On today's show, we talk with Joelle Martinez, Executive Director of the Latino Leadership Institute and Olivia Mendoza, Director of Strategic Partnerships. They will explain the LLI's unrivaled curriculum designed to enhance the skills of their Fellows, with the help of an elite network of Latino leaders.
