As a COBRT partner agency, Colorado Workforce Development Council joins us once a month to discuss growth and progress of our state's talent pipeline and developing a strong workforce in a program we call, "Creating Colorado's Talent Pipeline", with guest host Stephanie Veck, Director of the CWDC.
This show focuses on the incredible momentum that work-based learning is building in Colorado, across the country, and globally.
Our guest is Noel Ginsberg, the founder and CEO of Intertech Plastics, a Denver based advanced manufacturing company. Noel was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper to chair his Business Experiential-Learning Commission. His vision and leadership has led to the creation of CareerWise Colorado, the first statewide Youth Apprenticeship Initiative in the U.S.
CareerWise Colorado officially launched on September 14th with an announcement of $9.5 million in foundation support from Bloomberg Philanthropies, JP Morgan Chase, which adds to initial support from the Walton Family Foundation, the work of the BEL Commission, and CareerWise Colorado, how youth apprenticeships are the solution to an economically vital Colorado and world.
Listen to Connect & Collaborate at 4:00 on Denver's Money Talk 1690 AM.
