A Message from the Global Business Development Director
The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) recently realigned our domestic and international teams to form Global Business Development. Under the direction of Michelle Hadwiger, this newly formed division is responsible for global business recruitment, retention, expansion and foreign direct investment. In addition, Global Business Development leverages the work of the Advanced Industries Accelerator Program and identifies data-driven strategies to develop proactive opportunities for Colorado. The new structure benefits from the state's performance-based incentives and programs, international competitiveness, and talent.
Global Business Development will continue to focus on customer outreach, foreign direct investment, and export assistance. This structural change advances Colorado's ability to serve businesses and identify opportunities for investment, trade and growth. We look forward to continuing to serve Colorado's international business community as a collaborative team.
Michelle Hadwiger
