Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, in his final State of the Sate address to the state Legislature today, called for an increase in budgeted funds for transportation need as well as for strong consideration of sending a tax hike proposal to voters, as he laid out a wide range of needs in order to maintain Colorado as a place that inspires special love from people.

"For the CEOs of Business Roundtable, the Dreamers are far more than a legislative priority," wrote Robbins, Chair of the Immigration Committee. "They are employees, friends, and colleagues - part of the teams that allow our companies to compete on a global basis and create jobs for Americans. Resolving this issue in a way that reflects American values should be one of the top priorities of this new year." Nearly two-thirds of Americans want to find a way to allow the so-called Dreamers to remain in the country, Robbins noted, citing a recent survey.
