Chris Jensen

Region Manager – Colorado, Montana and Wyoming

Chris Jensen is Managing Director and the Colorado Region Manager for Middle Market Banking and he chairs the local market leadership team representing all lines of business in the region. Chris has a variety of banking experience at JPMorgan Chase in both Investment and Commercial Banking. He joined the firm in 1986.

Chris has spent his entire career in the banking industry holding a variety of product and client coverage positions over the years. In February 2016, Chris was named the Colorado Region Manager. In his role, Chris leads a team of bankers, credit underwriters and product partners that serve and develop relationships with companies that have annual revenues between $20 million and $500 million.

Prior to his Colorado Region Manager role, Chris was Managing Director, Client Coverage, for the Regional Investment Banking Group of JPMorgan Securities Inc. covering the Western United States. His responsibilities included providing investment banking coverage, advisory and financing execution for Chase Bank clients and prospects in the Western Region. Chris joined JPMorgan in New York in 1986 as an Associate.

In 1989, he relocated to Tokyo, Japan to join the Investment Banking Group of JP Morgan Securities Asia. Chris returned to New York in 1994 and joined JP Morgan’s Healthcare Investment Banking. In total, Chris has domestic and international investment and commercial banking experience serving public and private markets in a broad range of industries including healthcare, consumer, retail, technology, diversified manufacturing, financial institutions, and natural resources.

Chris serves on the Board of the Downtown Denver Partnership, the Colorado Bankers Association and the Colorado Business Roundtable.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Japanese from the University of Utah and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from UCLA, The Anderson School.
